Low pressure seen off the Carolinas will likely become the first tropical system of the unborn season. It will impact the coast from Virginia to S.Carolina and residents are being urged to monitor the developments. Meanwhile potent front in Plains will result in more severe weather there today.

Hurricane Center now placing a 70% probability of low becoming tropical or sub tropical. A airforce hunter plane will be flying in to investigate area later this morning.

Front in Plains will be a big troublemaker with storms today...and lots of wet unsettled weather from west coast into The Rockies.

Threat of severe in dark green and yellow for today and tonight. Below...the different models and where they
place this tropical low off the se coast. They are all in good agreement both timing and placement.  Be safe.
