Above....Canadian still aggressive...but slowing things down and placing tropical -like low off Va. coast Saturday a.m. compared to yesterday's run which had it off N.J. for same time.
NoGaps....just offshore....but in the ballpark.
Euro....Friday night...same place as Canadian....but only 12 hours earlier.
On this Sat.pix loop...notice the convection across Africa.....quite early for something like this....lending itself to the predictions of an active season.
Convection has flared up with disturbance in Gulf and Hurricane center has increased probability of a tropical system forming - now up to 40% which started as 20% on Monday.
Latest QPF thinking...giving Northeast and MidAtlantic between 1"-3" of rain from Thursday night into Saturday. When dealing with tropical moisture...these amounts can only be general since pockets of more and less will fall...and not out of question for some places to chaulk up 5". That's it for now....later.
