HURRICANE PATRICIA.....the worst storm ever in The Atlantic/Pacific Hurricane Basin with sustained 200 mph winds and a pressure of 25.99".  The storm will head northward to make landfall today and tonight along the Mexican coast between Lazaro Cardenas and Ixtapa Mexico. These 2 places have a population of close to 1/4 million people. Acapulco will be to the east of the eye but will also be in harm's way.

Map above is for Saturday night. The moisture from Patricia will feed into a low in South Texas. The lows in the Northern Rockies will head east and all of this will merge over the East
by late next week.  Below...is a projected of the mess expected
late next week.

Satelite/ radar overlay shows the storm in Plains headed north....but notice how moisture from Mexico is being pulled north as well. Heavy rain for Texas this weekend and then it all heads east. Be safe.
