An overall pattern change is taking place and will evolve over the next 7-10 days. Cold front with possible severe storms in Northeast today. Severe storms Central Plains. Below - severe storms in dark green and yellow followed by rainfall through next Tuesday.
Below - animate maps for next couple. COld front moves off East coast Wednesday and stalls in SOutheast.. Drier and pleasant air for Northeast. A western storm heads for Great Lakes and it will pick up the old front in southeast and drag it up coast for more humid - showery weather later this weekend. Once that sets in - it could be days of unsettled weather for the East.
