Wet weather continues in the southwest and Northwest otherwise fair and quiet October weather.

​Some showers over Florida....upper Midwest and Southwest...otherwise nice to see more "H"'s on map than " L".s,

​Severe risk limited to southern New Mexico and western Texas.

Long range through Oct. 20...shows much of the nation above
normal in temperature. Below...the upper air pattern projected for this period showing a "zonal" flow which usually mean mild..with quick moving fronts.  On that note...enjoy and be safe.
