Quiet Weather Settling In

Small low moving off New England coast and taking any snow with it. 
Snow in Rockies moving east....otherwise...a quiet time.  Below - current morning temperatures...followed by map showing temperatures for Friday.

​Map above is from the GFS Model for Christmas Day. It shows a large area of moisture from SOuthern Plains to Ohio Valley to Mid Atlantic. Blue is snow...Pink and purple - ice - Green is rain. Let's hope this model is wrong otherwise this winter storm could impact a large part of the Nation for Christmas Day.
