Satellite shows next weather system in Plains - reaching East Coast on Thursday with some rain. Tropics quiet.

​Trick or Treaters will need to bring an umbrella from The Great Lakes to Northern Plains....across the Pacific Northwest and Northern California. Elsewhere --- little or no precip. expected.

Long range temperature outlook through Nov. 9th ....most of the Nation above average especially over the Plains and Rockies. 
Below...500 Millibar pattern expected for this weekend. It shows the ridge over the Plains..thus the reason for warm. Trof over the East...so above normal but closer to the norm. Enjoy it and be safe and Happy Halloween.
