How dry we are, how dry we'll be....

The above pix show our satellite water vapor. Black and amber...very dry air...any other color but white...indicates moisture...not much. The map just above shows the fronts bringing some precip...but not much.

Early a.m. temperatures....which for the most part and chilly Nationwide.

This map shows how much rain is needed to end drought conditions. 
Notice...7-8" in Wyoming...7" California...(not good - forest fires)...4-6" Midwest....6" NYC and vicinity. Not holding out much hope for any big storms this week.....so November following in footsteps of Oct, Sept, Aug....etc.  Later.
