Much of the nation is either already seeing rain or will be seeing showers and thunderstorms pop up during today and tomorrow, but we'll be in the clear until a cold front drops by closer to mid-week. You can see below that the large high pressure system will be the culprit for the great weather, and just how messy the south, southwest, and mid-west and west are.
As for outside the land borders, nothing is really happening in the Atlantic, though there's Gil and Henriette in the pacific both headed just south of Hawaii, with TD Gil's energy being sapped by TS Henriette meaning that Gil will be dying down and Henriette may become a hurricane for a short while.
So I say we'll take the sunshine and enjoy the less humid weather outside, and leave the rain and storms elsewhere.
