It took the storm a while to get off the coast and really do it's thing but for the most part is lived up to it's expectations in many places up and down the East Coast. Atlanta, Ga. was raked with severe weather last night....when computer guidance was indication "NIL". A 19 year old girl was struck by lightning in Maryland yesterday. The bolt hit her necklace and traveled out her left foot putting her in critical condition and in a coma. Anyhow....rain in New England moves out today...leaving better weather into weekend. Strung out fronts will play with all of us from late Sunday thru mid part of next week with times of showers and thunderstorms. Below...a.m. satellite/ radar combo.
Next....Map of N.A. - so you can see the storm off the East Coast.
Lastly, a look at the 144hr. Canadian Model. With the ridge in the Plains and Rockies.....a trof finds comfort over the East which means no heat for the East...and changeable weather continues. Wish all a nice and safe weekend...and Happy Father's Day to all the dads. Later
