If you take a look at the model, unfortunately you'll see that we'll be getting quite a bit of wet weather for Labor Day for the Northeast. From sun up to sun down there will be a 50-70% chance of rain, with .30-.50" of rain falling, locally higher in areas of thunderstorms.
By Tuesday, the precip will scatter again much like today, though there will be a bit more sun in the forecast. Finally on Wednesday the cold front will have finished making its way through and the temperatures will have dropped by 6-8° on average. Much of the NE will be in the mid-upper 70's vs. the low-mid 80's we'll see today and into Tuesday. We just have to get through the beginning of the week, but Wednesday's sunshine and less humidity will be what we'll really look forward to.
Have a good holiday everyone.
