It all started way back when I was a kid growing up on Long Island... when Hurricane Belle blew through. I was fascinated by the destruction the wind had caused to my neighborhood and wanted to learn how a hurricane "worked." The Blizzard of '78 sealed my addiction to weather though, as it buried my neighborhood in over 3 feet of snow along with near hurricane force winds... along with thunder and lightning! I received a degree in atmospheric science from Stony Brook University in 2004. Both my interest and therapy lie in performing and composing music.
