Mike has been interested in weather since he experienced Hurricane Gloria up close in 1985. In 2005, Mike spun the wheel and bought many vowels as a contestant on Wheel of Fortune. He received a degree in meteorology from Western Connecticut State University in 2001. In addition to his duties at Metro Weather, he is a weather producer for ABC’s Good Morning America and WPIX-TV in New York.
