Stormy weather shifts from Northeast to The West Coast.....

Above...Satellite shows storm that affected Northeast yesterday and will continue to do so next few days. Snows will fall across NYS - 6"-10"....and could even bring a coating as far south as NYC. Big storm west coast...heavy rain and high winds will spread south to Los Angeles by Friday.

On this close up satellite of the Northeast...notice how the bright colors are moving from south to north....(moisture)
mainly rain. The band of light blue is moving from north to south...indicating the circulation that will produce snow
in New York State and south to N.J.

Above...map for this evening. Storm near Maine..typical backlash of wind..snow...but only marginally cold air. Storm on west coast bringing rain and wind from SanFran north.
