Picture
Low spinning in North Atlantic will keep northeast and mid atlantic unsettled next couple. Front in Rockies will weaken as it moves east.
Picture
Map valid for this evening. Weak lows in Mid Atlantic bringing some rain there. Showers moving through the Dakotas with a cold front.....otherwise calm.
Picture
Rainfall amounts expected in MidAtlantic next 24 hours.
Picture
Canadian Model for NEXT Friday. Attention to low along the outer banks of N.Carolina. This could easily be a tropical system....and if it is it could be given the name ANA. Water temperatures in SE Atlantic are some 6 degrees above normal.
Picture
This is the GFS Model for same time...next Friday. It is a little slower have this tropical like system off the Se Coast....nevertheless it also sees it.
Picture
This is the Euro but for Saturday of next week. It too...sees this tropical system...but is slower however more compact. It is in about the same location of The GFS Model.
Even though hurricane season does not start until June 1st....it is not unusual to get tropical system before and after. Will it mean a busy tropical system ?  Not necessarily.
Be safe.
