Satellite shows the 2 jet stream....one in the south...other across the north. When they merge...big storms form. When they stay separate.....unsettled weather.

down to Carolinas. Cold punch Great Lakes and Northeast.
Front in Northern Rockies moves east to bring rain to
East coast late weekend.

This is the Euro models for 1am Monday. Low is over
eastern Conn. From Vermont to Berkshires of Mass...NW Conn...and a little west - rain changes to snow...otherwise..rain for most of the Northeast.

Map above shows northeast storm moving away on Monday. Next front in Rockies could affect East by Wednesday.

Above map is the Euro for Tuesday nite. Model takes clipper low in Ohio east and brings snow to mid Atlantic and parts of the Northeast next Wednesday. Aside from that wrinkle...the nation is quiet.  Hope you have a quiet weekend...be safe.
