If only tomorrow's weather were today's, or even pushed back a few hours; maybe we'll get lucky.
Today's a beautiful day with highs in the upper 70's for much of New England, around 80° for Long Island, and in the low-mid 80's for the Metro Area. Tomorrow the temps will be similar for the Metro Area and around 5 degrees less elsewhere, but as seen in the adjacent GFS models there could be a scattered shower or thunderstorm in the afternoon for NYC and Long Island, with a greater chance of more constant showers/storms starting in the late afternoon for much of the Northeast.
So try to make your Father's Day plans early to try and avoid getting rained or stormed on. We'll update this tomorrow when the models hone in more on this system.
